I Love. I Hate.

i love the way you hold my body closely to yours as your whisper in my ear: i’ve missed you, baby

i hate the way you look down to the floor as you tell me you’ll be mine (maybe)

i love the way you stare deeply into my soul as i tell you my joyful passions

i hate the way you ignore me for days on end – in your life, these are the new fashions

i love the way we dance under the moonlight glows whilst the stars wink luster from above

i hate the way you use your words instead of your actions that “i’m your love”

i love it when you text me late at night, beckoning me to come see you

i hate it when you ditch my pleas to go out and when i await for the day to morph itself into nighttime, too

i love it how your chuckle gracefully touches my heart

i hate it how you view this relationship of ours as a game of art

i love it when you call me babe, making my heart swoon over your own

i hate it when you don’t call me at all, refusing to pick up your damn phone

i love it when i close my eyes and see your alluring smile mesh into my thoughts of what could be
