“At that darkest moment, while drowning in the Abyss of Emotional Bankruptcy, reflect on this universal truth: the difference between success and failure is one more time.” ― Ken Poirot

Time.

Time passes us all by, in moments, minutes, weeks, years, decades. Time doesn’t wait for us to get our shit together as we contemplate life’s next move. Nor does it elongate its duration, in anticipation of what we could do with more of it. Time doesn’t hold the secret to success, and it definitely is not the solution to a bleeding heart break that looms over those who were crushed. Time does not heal wounds, despite the quote that says otherwise. And time does not guarantee happiness, no matter how long a life we live. Time does not grow exponentially, nor does it shrink in size. Time, simply put, is a man-made concept just like money. We spend time, we lose time, we invest time, we cultivate time, we give time, we waste time, we stress over time, we donate time.

Time.
