Paradise Lost

The doctor confirmed what she had been waiting to hear for her entire life. Growing up orphaned and hopping from abusive home to abusive home, she knew her silver lining would eventually come, so she received her gift from God whole-heartedly. Although carrying a baby was going to be extremely difficult and tiresome, she knew that this little being growing inside of her would be her only happiness in life — her paradise.
