Paralyzing Fear
Why you shouldn’t live in it

Some of us live in fear, as if this debilitating emotion holds the ropes above us as our limp bodies hang, dancing only in rhythm with the ropes that hold and thus, move us. We hardly have a mind of our own, as fear dictates our thoughts, our actions, our beliefs, and so on. Fear is the monster creeping out from beneath our beds and into the forefront of our lives, shutting down any string of sanity in which we cling too loosely. See the irony here?
Some of us are so stricken with fear that we become paralyzed — too weak to even move when the ropes suggest to us to do just that. We become stagnant. We actually can hardly even breathe, making our hearts work even faster to keep pace with this menace of an emotion. We let fear dominate our hearts, leaving room for little else, if anything at…
