Pulse Reading
Enlivening your own pulse
“[Pulse reading] understands the vibratory frequency of the pulse at various levels on the Radial artery. Subtle vibrations are read at seven different levels vertically downward that help in ascertaining various functions in the body. The pulse, when examined, reveals both physical & mental characteristics of the patient.”

To locate the surface pulse on the self, first ensure fingernails are trimmed, sit comfortably, uncross legs and relax the body.
If you’re a man, you’ll read the pulse of your right wrist, using your left fingertips. Women will read the left wrist, as that is the feminine side of the body.
From there, locate the radial bone below the palm with the index finger’s pad. Then move the finger downward and diagonally about 0.5 cm until the radial groove is located. This will run directly in line with the index finger of the hand you’re reading.
You’ll then join the middle and ring fingers alongside the index finger without spaces between the fingers. The three fingertips should be in line and felt with even pressure — just the intention of applying even pressure is sufficient. Once placed, don’t move the fingers. The fingers should be angled perpendicular to the wrist, relaxing the arm.
