I watched that Netflix documentary last night, teaching me the wondrous properties of mushrooms. It’s called Fantastic Fungi, if you feel so inclined to watch it yourself — I highly recommend it!
We’re all one. One organism. One society. One community. One energy force. One connection. One fucking universe. We are all one, but it seems improbable that people will ever recognize this and act as such (we are humans, after all).
But mushrooms? Fuck, man. Mushrooms have a whole world underneath the ground on which we walk, acting as a network to the trees and plants above it, using cues from the energy signals they give off. One tree has more nutrients than its sickly sister tree? It sends those vibrational patterns off to the mushrooms, who use their neuron-like tendencies to transfer such nutrients to the weaker one. A tree has a seedling growing elsewhere that is struggling? The mama tree…
