The Travel-Less Soulmates

What if we were to wake up in a new life every morning, based on the decisions we have not previously made? What if we traveled through the dimensions to find our most desirable selves but in different realities? What if we only found love with the people who chose the same reality as we did?

As Michio Kaku’s research dives deeper into finding what constitutes the String Theory as truth (or fact, rather), the existence of parallel universes no longer seems so far-fetched. There have been tests in Denver, with negative results. But who is to say there aren’t eleven dimensions elsewhere, creating black holes in which new universes sprout. Or quite possibly, the existence of clones of our current civilization — these clones, though, would be making their own decisions, affecting every possible outcome of one another’s — that are us but are also, not us. Maybe there are an infinite amount of universes out there, not just one clone. After reading upon his studies, my mind wandered to the extreme side of parallel universes, pertaining to my own perception of reality and also, of love.

I began questioning what exactly is my reality. Is it waking up and feeling all of my senses? Is it the wiggling of my toes, knowing I am willing myself to do so? Is it because I awoke from a dream and all memories of my former self have come to life? Perhaps my dream was the reality, and when I…
