your hand

touching mine.

this is how

When I fall, I fall fucking hard.
Are you prepared to catch me?
Will you sweep me off my feet
before I fully faint?

I can see us in those foreign worlds
that are so comforting,
the visions mesh themselves
inside my dreams.

You’re my dream.

If you can’t carry the weight of me,
and all I have acquired over the years,
I don’t want you beneath me,
awaiting me with your shaky ass arms.

When I fall,
will you have your arms wide open,
anticipating my deadened body
that fell and fell too fucking quickly?

and then…

I fall — suddenly,
as if my legs give out on me,
because I’m weak for you,
and you seem stronger than I am.
